Christina Perri is one of the best-selling American musicians. She started learning music early in her life and is widely regarded as a self-taught musician. She left her hometown at the age of 21 to pursue a career in music. Her first single titled ‘Jar of Hearts’ became a national sensation after it was featured in the ‘So You Think you can Dance.’ The song sold 100,000 copies within a month, handing Perri a dream start to her musical career. Following the success of ‘Jar of Hearts,’ she was signed by ‘Atlantic Records,’ which officially kick-started her musical career. Her debut album ‘Lovestrong’ was released in 2011 and became a humongous success. It was eventually certified ‘Platinum’ by the ‘Recording Industry Association of America’ (RIAA). She then embarked on a success streak, releasing back-to-back successful albums and EPs. Perri’s love theme, which she composed for the final installment of ‘The Twilight Saga,’ sold more than four million copies in the US alone and was certified ‘Four times Platinum’ by RIAA.
